Fruidel Terms And Conditions | The Office Fruit Delivery Company | Fruidel

What’s in our baskets?

Classic Boxes: We offer three sizes of Classic boxes with a selection of 5 fruit varieties at any given time. The Classic 50 box contains between 45 and 50 pieces, the Classic 40 box contains between 35 and 40 pieces, and the Classic 20 box contains between 18 and 20 pieces.

Seasonal Deluxe Baskets: We aim to provide a selection of 6 fruit varieties in our Seasonal Deluxe baskets at any given time. A full Seasonal Deluxe basket contains 45 fruit portions, while a half Seasonal Deluxe basket contains 23 fruit portions.

Fruidel Promise: If you receive fruit that does not meet your expectations, please send a picture of the fruit to our Customer Service team at Orders@fruidel.com. We will do our best to replace the fruit for you if we determine that it does not meet our standards. Please note that we are unable to customize fruit baskets due to our production line setup.

Boxes

As part of our eco-friendly policy, we provide reusable boxes for our deliveries. We kindly ask that you return the boxes to us when we make your next delivery. Our drivers will collect the boxes at the same time as they deliver your fresh fruit. This helps us to reduce waste and keep our prices as low as possible for our customers. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us

Terms of Payment

We invoice monthly in advance, on or around the 20th of each month, and payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing by Fruidel. To support our commitment to the environment, all invoices are sent in PDF format.

We accept the following payment methods: BACS, cheque, direct debit, debit card, and credit card.

Late Payment Fee: If any payment due under this agreement is not received by the due date, you shall pay a late payment fee of £35 + VAT. This fee is payable only after the dispute is resolved for payments disputed in good faith. In other words, it applies to sums found or agreed to be due from 2 days after the dispute is resolved until payment. This is in addition to any other remedies we may have.

Order changes

If you need to alter your order, please email our Client Services Team. You may reduce your order by one basket per billing period. Larger reductions will take place at the beginning of the following month and will be reflected in the next month’s invoice.

For milk alterations, please email the Client Services Team by 11:00am the day before your delivery is due. Alterations received after 11:00am cannot be accommodated for the following day.

To pause your order, please email our Client Services Team with a likely restart date. Regardless of the reason for a pause in deliveries, you will be required to pay 50% of the total invoice amount for the “Paused Delivery Period.” If you subsequently decide to cancel your subscription during the paused period, you will automatically revert to our standard Termination clause (see below). If you choose to cancel your subscription completely, you will be liable to pay 100% of the total invoice for the remainder of your subscription.

Pricing Structure

Our pricing is agreed upon in writing between you and our sales agent and can be found attached to your order form. Our service aligns with the zero-rated for VAT purposes, so VAT is not added to the price. Any additions or reductions to your order may result in a change to the price, which we will advise you of.

To provide administrative ease, we aim to keep prices fixed for periods of four months at a time. We may need to change pricing before the four-month period ends if there are unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or conflicts that materially affect fruit prices or other costs impacting our business, such as fuel prices. However, we will always provide the quantity of fruit ordered. While wholesale fruit prices fluctuate throughout the year, we will try to avoid altering the selection of fruit included in your basket wherever possible.

In undertaking periodic pricing reviews, we will only seek to change pricing where there is a medium to long-term shift in fruit prices or other costs that materially impact our business. If we need to change our prices, we will advise you in good time of the new pricing taking effect

Public Holidays

We do not deliver on Bank Holidays or during the Christmas Period. In the event of a week beginning with a Bank Holiday, our delivery schedule will be adjusted as follows:

If a Bank Holiday falls at the end of a week and your regular delivery day is Friday, you will receive your fruit delivery one day earlier.

Delivery information

We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. While we make every effort to deliver your order as early as possible, any times provided are estimates only. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or vehicle problems may cause delays, and we will keep you updated as much as possible.

Fruidel reserves the right to change delivery schedules and routes due to commercial reasons, and we will try to minimize any impact on your company.

If circumstances beyond our control, such as an act of God, extreme weather, or labor disputes, prevent or hinder the delivery of goods, we will not be held responsible for any resulting delay or failure to deliver.

Termination

To cancel your subscription with us, please send an email to Orders@fruidel.com. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation and your order will stop at the end of the following month, provided that your order consists of 19 or fewer baskets delivered per week.

If your order consists of 20 or more baskets delivered per week, the termination period will take effect from the start of the following month. For example, if you cancel on the 15th of January, your termination period will start from the 1st of February, and you will be required to pay for and receive deliveries up to the 29th of March.
